For an "expert" in the field, I have yet to decide who I will interview. I will have the person decided by the interview time.
For questions, I will ask the following:
- How can librarians best serve contemporary patrons?
- What qualifies a person to be a "contemporary patron"?
- How can a librarian "serve" a contemporary patron?
- How can programs help librarians achieve this goal?
- In what ways could a satisfactory experience encourage further visits?
- What image, or images, should a library convey to encourage visits?
- How could alternative programs encourage participation in the library?
- How can media other than literature increase publicity?
- In what ways can a library support the community?
- What defines a person as a librarian?
1. Ontario City Library/ Ovitt Family Library
2. Courtney Saldana. Her phone number is (909)395-2225
3. I am not entirely sure as to the exact amount. Howwever, I have gone almost every Tuesday since school started for 1 1/2 hours so I do have more than ten hours.
4. Each week we switched, with one week being a program such as "Pizza and a Movie" and the next week being a volunteer meeting. Both count for hours there, but I am not sure if they count at IPoly.
1. I literally did nothing with it over break.
2. As previously stated, I did nothing. Therefore I learned nothing.
3. For a 10 question interview, I think I'd interview either my mentor or someone who works with my mentor. Or even a former IPoly student.
